Objective: To establish a long term rewarding career
with a private yacht (Owner Employer) where I can make a significant contribution based on
my skills, knowledge and commitment.
Qualifications: U.S.C.G Merchant Marine Captain's License-1992 for
near coastal motor vessels 50 gross tons inspected, 100 gross tons uninspected. Authorized
in commercial assistance towing. Certified NAUI Worldwide Scuba Diver,
American Red Cross CPR and first aid certified.
Employment:
Corporate Yacht Captain May1996 to date Ringhaver Equipment/CAT
Engines-Land Moving Equipment, Riverveiw Florida.
Responsibilities: Operating and maintaining a 56ft. luxury yacht.
Duties include entertaining corporate customers, 3 days a week, on day fishing trips. Trip
locals include the Tampa Bay coastal waters, and adjacent water ways. The east coast of
Florida, Key West and the Bahamas. Occasional social evening cruises in and around the
Tampa Bay area. Responsible for the safety of everyone on board, and hiring and
supervision of a first mate.
Skills/Interests: Extensive navigational knowledge of Florida and
Bahamian waterways and fishing sites. Working knowledge of the various electronic
navigational equipment, CAT engine vision, Furuno radar, B&G, Raython, chart plotters,
etc

Host of fishing show segment during "10 News Sports" Featuring
fishing stories from Tampa Bay and adjacent coastal waters, various Florida locals
(including Key West and the east coast) and the Bahamas.
